Professionally coordinated pharmaceutical service
Our long-term care pharmacists support the daily medical needs of patients in long-term care facilities. We dispense our patients’ medications for an extended care track, educate them about their treatment, plan their long-term drug therapy, and identify drug interactions. As a helpful resource for health information, we provide pharmaceutical consultation and patient education.
What else do we provide?
We coordinate with our patients’ physicians in providing the needed medications. Our responsibilities as long-term care pharmacists also include:
- Reviewing drug regimens
- Monitoring physical condition and responses to drugs
- Reviewing medical records
- Supporting patients’ nutritional needs
- Providing medical equipment
- Conducting drug research
- And more
